These terms govern your use of ellemakebetter.com, an independent editorial guide to evening cruises and dinner-cruise operators. By browsing the site or sending an enquiry through it, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

What This Site Is — and Is Not

ellemakebetter.com is an independent editorial publication that reviews evening cruises operated by third parties and, separately, transfers enquiries to a third-party reservation partner. We are not a operator, a booking agency or a payment processor; we sell nothing, hold no availability, display no prices and never take payment or card details. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any business named here, and this is not the official website of any of them.

Enquiries

Submitting the enquiry form does not create a booking and holds nothing. When you send an enquiry we transfer your details to an independent third-party reservation-services company (the reservation partner), whose team contacts you directly. We are paid a referral fee for that transfer and/or a share of a booking that results from it, and we may be paid even if you never book. We take no payment ourselves and collect no card details at any stage. The full model is on our How We Make Money page. Please give accurate contact details: an enquiry we cannot reply to cannot be acted on.

Reviews and Quotations

Visitor reviews quoted on this site are the words of their authors, published by them on public review platforms and reproduced here unedited, with their name, rating and any photographs they attached. They are their authors' opinions, not ours, and we do not verify the events they describe. Editorial articles on this site are the opinion of the named writer at the time of their visit.

Accuracy and Change

Businesses change: an address, a phone number, an opening arrangement or a whole venue can be different from what we found. We correct what we are told about, but nothing here is a promise about a particular visit. A sailing can be shortened, delayed, re-routed, kept alongside or cancelled when conditions or safety require it, and the operator's own terms and the master's decisions are always the ones that apply, whatever this site says.

Gaming Aboard, Age and Responsible Play

Where a cruise described here offers gaming aboard, it is operated and licensed by that operator, not by us. This publication is not a gambling operator and not a carrier: it takes no bets, holds no funds, sells no passage and receives nothing from the operators it writes about. Gaming aboard is limited to adults who meet the minimum age stated in the notice printed on every page, and the operator checks that at boarding. Gambling involves risk and can be addictive: play only with money you can afford to lose, never to recover a loss, and seek local support services if it stops being a choice. Nothing on this site is advice about how to play or how to win.

Use of This Website

You may read, print and share these pages for your own, non-commercial use. You may not copy the site or substantial parts of it for republication, scrape it by automated means, or use it in a way that interferes with its operation or with other visitors' use of it.

Intellectual Property

The editorial text, layout, name and marks on this site belong to the publisher. Photographs of a business are used to illustrate a review of that business; photographs attached to a visitor review remain the work of the visitor who took them. Nothing here transfers any right in any of it to you.

No Outbound Links, One Embedded Map

This site links only to its own pages. We do not link to a operator's own website, to its listing on any review or booking platform, or to any social profile, and nothing here is an affiliate link. The single exception is technical rather than editorial: a review page can embed a map of the address from a third-party map provider, and that map loads only after you allow non-essential cookies or ask for it by name. We do not control that provider and are not responsible for its service or its own privacy practices.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the publisher is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, from reliance on a review or an editorial opinion, or from anything that happens during a visit to a business described here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
